Celebs loving it long
April 4th 2008 04:03
Celebrities have the means to change their hair's look and length at a moment's notice, but there are some who have embraced long hair as part of their image. Here are just a few of the celebs who are loving it long.
According to Glamour magazine, Reese's hair is on the most-wanted list - mostly because of the heavy, blunt fringe that has made a big comeback on both the red carpet and the catwalk.
For as long as she's been famous, Eva Longoria has had long hair. With her delicate features she'd be more than capable of pulling off a short crop, but obviously prefers to have some length.
Delta's hair has grown back since her cancer scare and looks much more 'sex kitten' than the shorter locks she was sporting after her chemotherapy. She's also had some blonde highlights put in, which further emphasise her tousled waves.
If you were to ask an Aussie guy what the epitome of the perfect girl is, Jennifer Hawkins would likely be high on his list. She's worn her hair long since her triumph in the Miss Universe pageant, alternating between wavy and straight locks.
Angelina had her hair short in the early part of her career, as we saw in her movie Gia, but for the last eight years has worn it long. Having long hair softens her dramatic features and makes her appear more feminine.
Felicity's Keri Russell caused a huge stir when she chopped her beautiful curly locks short - the show's ratings suffered as a result! She's since grown it back and will surely think twice in the future before succumbing to the scissors.
While Lindsay is a colour-chameleon, she's partial to long hair and has kept it that way since rising to fame in Freaky Friday. Personally I think she looks best as a brunette, but she changes her colour so often that it's hard to keep up.
Jessica has such thick, glossy hair that it would be a shame to cut it short. The mum-to-be shines here with blonde highlights in her naturally dark mane.
So there you have it - the celebs who are loving it long. If you know that a certain look works for you, then it makes sense to stick to it. If long hair is part of your image, you would likely feel at a loss if you were to chop it all off. Unless you're ready for a new image, that is, but that's for another blog.
