Great Hair Style Tips - August 2008

How often do you style your hair?

Is it an every day thing for you, or do you style your hair (as in, straighten, curl, or blow-dry) for big nights out only? Or not at all?



I know how often I style my hair, but that's for another blog. This one's for you - after seven months of writing, I know I've got readers, but I very rarely get any feedback. I'm curious to know your hairstyling habits. You are most welcome to leave comments!


So there's the question - how often do you style your hair? Thanks in advance all.

I don't 'style' per say. My hair is thick, has TOO much volume and dry. The only choice I have is to pull it back. Otherwise, it looks as if I had been in a tornado. Remember the Princess Diaries movie? Thats me.

My hair is really thick and I mean REALLY thick, but wt I do to stop it puffing out is after I shower I put my hair in bunchies (pig tails) and let it dry in the bunchies (pig tails), when its nearly dry I put it in a side pony tail or plat, as my hair has a natural wave I leave it in a side pony, if I wan't it in a more controlled wave I plat it.
DO NOT COMB, BRUSH OR ANYTHING IT!
If I comb or brush my hair, I go all Princess Diaries myself! Hope this helps x

I only style my hair for big nights out. My hair is bleached and very dry and damaged already cuz of that. So Im trying to be as nice to it as I possibly can on an every day basis...

Well, my hair is another one to add to the list of the 'Princess Diaries' hair. I used to straighten it everyday. Sometimes, I would just straighten the top layer if I don't have enough time. Recently, I've been trying to work on keeping it natural. My hair is actually naturally curly and dries into pretty locks of curls, but when I brush it...yup. That would be the reason my nickname among my friends is 'Bush.'

my hair is a medium thick and when i go to school i have to straighten my hair or it will be a big puff ball.. i can tell my hair is damaged because it always feels hair and never soft. how do i get my hair feeling great and not damage my hair?

i have normal hair, its not too thick, but i NEED to straighten it everyday because when i wake up my hair is really messy, even after i brush it so i cant go for the natural look and if i dont blow dry my hair it goes frizzy, i know it will be damaging my hair but there is nothing a can do, also i cant do much with it i.e. get volume, style it and so on

I have very thin hair and hate to dry my hair...I love to flat iron and curl my hair but really I dont dry it.
